Finding Stillness
The other day I read a quote that said, “Within you there is a stillness and sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself.“
This made me ask myself, what is the current state of my inner sanctuary?
How can we find a place of stillness that we can retreat to when the world around us gets hectic and chaotic?
As I’ve continued my meditation and mindfulness practice over the years, I’ve come to understand that the more you practice the easier it is to connect with this internal state.
Just imagine what our world would begin to look like if we, individually, took time to create a place of peace and stillness within our minds and hearts.
How would that change the way that we interact with others, the words we’d speak and the thoughts we’d think?
In today’s Minute of Mindfulness, we’ll be focused on finding stillness.
Minute of Mindfulness
Finding Stillness
Stillness can be found in this moment. Be willing to take time each day to go within and acknowledge this inner sanctuary within you.
The more you practice meditation and mindfulness, the more power you’ll discover.
Peace. Happiness. Compassion. Respect.
