10 Minutes a Day of Conscious Exercise

10 Minutes a Day

Can we all find 10 free minutes a day?

Of course.

We could wake up 10 minutes earlier, stay up 10 minutes later, watch 10 minutes less of tv, or spend 10 minutes less on Facebook or Twitter.

10 minutes each day adds up to 3,650 minutes, or roughly 60 hours a year.

It is my hope that by the end of this post you will rediscover an extra 10 minutes a day to empower your body through simple and effective exercises.

Remember, little steps in the right direction each day can take you a long way.

Intention

Before I explain the 4 simple exercises that you can do each day, I would like to spend a moment speaking about intention.

You see, if we approach anything with shaky intentions, we will get shaky results.

However, if  we approach these 4 simple exercises with clarity and an intention to empower our bodies, we will be more effective than we could imagine.

Simple and Conscious Exercises: Unity

Even if you exercise regularly, these 4 simple and conscious exercises can benefit everyone.

Exercise 1 – Yoga & Stretching – Begin every workout by uniting your body with your mind, and your mind with your spirit. Intentionally connect all the forces within your body through controlled stretching. While doing a yoga pose or a stretch, ensure you move slowly, honoring each molecule and atom within.

Exercise 2 – Conscious Jumping Jacks – We’ve all done jumping jacks but how many of us were 100% aware of our entire body during our jumping jacks? Conscious jumping jacks require you to focus on each muscle, each movement of your body, with the intention of unity and creating one flowing movement.

Exercise 3 – Conscious Push-Ups – These push-ups also require you to be 100% aware of each movement during the exercise. Feel the connection from your center (core) outward. Feel your entire body working in harmony as you push yourself up, and lower yourself back down. Move with unity.

Exercise 4 – Conscious Sit-Ups/ Crunches – This type of sit-up is intentional, slow and controlled, uniting your entire body together into one harmonic piece.

Imagine what 10 minutes a day of these intentional and conscious exercises could do for you in one year?

Try these exercises out and see if they work for you. If not, no hard feelings, find things that align with your body and beliefs, then implement those things.

Your Thoughts

If you already exercise each day, aside from walking and running, what are a few things that you would recommend others begin doing to improve the health of their bodies?

Gratitude

In addition to these intentional and conscious exercises that I’ve highlighted above, I hope that this post has reminded you how incredible your body is. Here is a post I did a few weeks back about the most incredible vehicle ever.

Do not take it for granted. Honor and respect this vehicle with which you’ve been provided to experience the journey of life.

I am thankful for you taking some time out of your day and visiting Three Key Life.

You are a valuable piece of our community.

Thank you for helping me become better.

Add 10 minutes a day of conscious exercise this week.

Embrace unity and be grateful.
