The Face I Had Before My Parents Were Born

Connecting

Every once and a while there will be a few issues, conflicts and problems that resurface within myself. Just the other day a few things popped up in my life that made me sit back, breathe and consciously move forward.

What I’ve realized is that problems and inconveniences will always appear throughout life. What makes the difference is if we see those issues as little hiccups that can hardly prevent our forward movement or big chasms which cause us to stop believing and ultimately give up.

Whether those problems are as minor as incorrect thinking (fear, worry, doubt, non-belief) or as major as things that rock my reality (loss of life, relocating, business, finances), there is one thing that I return back to regardless of how big the “problem” may be.

That one thing is meditation, or quiet contemplation.

More specifically connecting with the Essence within and recognizing who I was before my parents were born.

Before Life

This morning I awoke, breathed in life, and walked to the living room. I sat in front of the window with my back propped against a large loveseat and closed my eyes, consciously uniting my breath with my heart and slowed down the thoughts for the upcoming day. As I sat there with my eyes closed, focused on my breathing, I reconnected with the Life within, that same Life which awoke me this morning.

I looked even deeper and saw that this Life which awoke me is also the same Life which filled my body as a child. Taking it a step further, during that contemplative period I knew that the Life within, that which awoke me this morning, has been with me even before my time on this earth. In what form, I do not know, but It has been with us for our entire journey.

It fills this moment of now and connects it all, from the trees, to the stars, to you and me and this planet we’re upon.

During this moment of inner clarity, the inner light shines, and where our true inner light illuminates no illusionary problems can dwell.

But how many of us truly take time out of our days to stop, close our eyes, breath and take a truthful and honest examination at Life and the abundance it bestows?

Forgetting That Essence

Maybe you’re like me and from time to time get so caught up in day to day living that you completely forget about that Essence of Life.

Maybe you’ve never thought about the possibility that we are all connected in some way and when you empower another person you also empower yourself.

Maybe we forgot about the tools that the majority of us came equipped with, a body to move with, a mind to think with and a spirit which awakes us, is all that we need throughout this journey.

Or maybe you are one of the few people that have began to realize that the gift of thought, choice and action opens endless doors of opportunity and possibilities throughout our lives.

Regardless of where you may be in your voyage, don’t forget about your inner Essence, your inner Life.

Realigning & Connecting

One of the most incredible things that we can begin to realize is our ability to redirect our lives to whatever ends we desire. We have the ability to realign our inner self and outer life moment by moment.

Other than contemplating the place of our origin and the source which provides us with Life, I have 3 Keys to help you unlock the awareness needed to tackle some of Life’s biggest problems.

Maintaining Awareness

#1 – We Are The Experiencers – Look within. Have you noticed that the true you is the Essence within that see’s all your thoughts, feels all your feelings, and observes the world and people around you?

Spend some time with the true you, that place within that lies deeper than all thoughts, feelings and emotions. See that you are the experiencer and also co-creator (thoughts, choices, actions) of the path which you walk.

#2 – A Piece of the Whole – As we start to see our life as the experiencer we can take it a step further and see that our life is apart of the Whole. What I mean by this is that our lives are apart of it All.

We are products of the Universe (God, Intelligence, Allah, Jah), equipped with everything we would ever need. As you begin to see that you are a piece of the whole, you’ll notice that nothing of good nature can be withheld from you unless you first withhold it from yourself.

#3 – Create Beauty – Seeing our ability to experience our thoughts, feelings and emotions while understanding we are empowered by Life Itself, we can begin to use the experiencer (our true self empowered by Life) to consciously create an environment we enjoy and supports us.

This is done thought by thought, choice by choice and action by action.

See and know that you’re supported and appreciated by all of Life, but also ensure you support and appreciate yourself.

Whole, Full & Complete

Today, I invite you to move through your experience realizing that you are the experiencer of all the things you pass, whether in mind or in person.

I invite you to recognize your wholeness and connection with all of Life and the power that It bestows.

Finally, know that you have the ability to create a life that you appreciate and appreciates you back.

Each time an issue arises, read back through this post and know that the true you lies beneath it all, in a peaceful place filled with Life.

Question: What is the one thing that pulls you away from your inner peace? What would happen if that thing didn’t exist?

Have a great day.

Peace

Happiness

Compassion

Respect
