Wisdom From Unexpected Places

I wonder if the hens ever question themselves, leaning towards doubt, slightly fearful about their ability to sit atop an egg and help it hatch?

If we spent time watching hens we’d recognize that if they sit on top of a fertile egg for roughly 21 days, a baby chicken will eventually hatch. No doubt can prevent this natural flow of Life.

I wonder if a small cell questions itself when seeking to divide and reproduce into another cell?

Looking within each person and all plants, we see there is a natural flow of life that not only empowers all cells to live, but provides them with the blueprints for precisely how to divide and multiply in the most abundant ways.

We all came from a single cell. The genius of that Genesis cell is still within us all. It is that which is regenerating our organs, tissues and fibers.

I wonder if the soil ever gets down on itself when a small tree seeks to grow but its life is cut short. I wonder if the soil questions the amount of nutrients contained within it, begging for a miracle from the sky to save it.

As we look around our planet we see the soil hold up trees as large as Sequoias and plants as small as a single blade of grass, gracefully supporting each seed that lands upon it; even the desert soil sustains life.

What About Humans

Looking out at nature we recognize an eternal flow that has been ever-present. Whether it’s the passing of an animal, the falling of a tree or the eruption of a volcano, the Essence of Life continues on.

Regardless of what happened throughout the entirety of our planet, galaxy or beyond, Life continues.

Realizing this, I wonder why we humans walk around with so much doubt, fear, worry, frustration and hopelessness.

After all, don’t we too, like the hen, know that we can set our focus upon a specific thing and through consistency, persistence and alignment with the Life within, hatch our own chick so to say?

I wonder if we would be able to embrace our incredible body temple, honoring this life we live if we could see the divine precision enabling each cell within us to divide and recreate our organs.

Would we ever doubt our incredible abilities if we tapped back into that Genesis cell, the part of us that knows how to develop bones, beat our heart and enlighten our brain?

I wonder if we could release all fear by understanding that just as the soil contains vast amounts of nutrients within itself, we too have endless talents, gifts, potential and energy contained within.

As we open our minds to this wisdom from unexpected places, we recognize there is no prayer which can take us into a higher state of being, we are Life itself.

As we open our minds to this wisdom from unexpected places we understand that within us all is the solution we’ve been searching for, the solution that can set us free. The answer to all our problems is found in this shared breath we breathe.

Life.

3 Keys To Embracing Wisdom From Unexpected Places

#1 – Children – Spend any considerable amount of time around a child, especially a newborn, and you will be able to reconnect with the part of you that knows, the part of you who can transcend the illusions of the world. This is the part of you that’s always with you. It is the Essence that formed you in your mother’s womb, the Essence which enables your heart to beat and mind to think. Spend time around children and you’ll remember that from which you came, the One.

#2 – Animals – Witnessing the birds fly from branch to branch or peck in the grass to find bugs, observing cats and dogs happily greet their owners upon returning home, watching squirrels, deer and other animals scurrying about can quickly remind us of how the same Essence of Life that awakens us, so too awakens them. Animals have a way of reminding us that our lives are but a bleep in time and that it is the connection that matters most. More specifically, the connection to nature, our family and the land upon which we are blessed to rest.

#3 – Nature – If you want to see the greatest temple in the world, you need not put on a white robe, pray for hours on end, or become some enlightened guru. If you want to see the greatest temple in the world, simply step into nature. Nature is better than therapy, better than all the holy books combined. Nature is the Essence from which our bodies come from and will return to. Nature holds all the answers, for it is the coloring book of Life.
